Great read Robin - it really is criminal how underrated and under-appreciated Chenin can be. Just had a delicious Coteaux du Layon over the Easter weekend and a fantastic dry Chenin from South Africa. I think you’re right that the grape’s versatility has perhaps been it’s downfall at times!
